DFA Conducts Institutional Briefing for Delegation of National Defense College of UAE

PASAY CITY, 14 March 2023 – Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Affairs Hon. Jesus S. Domingo led the DFA officials during the visit of a delegation from the National Defense College of the United Arab Emirates. Undersecretary Domingo delivered a presentation as part of the institutional briefing for the NDC UAE delegation on Tuesday, 14 March 2023.

Joined by Assistant Secretary for Middle East and African Affairs, Hon. Mardomel Celo D. Melicor, and Assistant Secretary for Policy Planning and Coordination, Hon. Patrick A. Chuasoto, Undersecretary Domingo welcomed the NDC UAE delegation led by Staff Brigadier Staff Pilot Khalifa Butti Thani Al Shamsi, and expressed Philippines’ keen interest in further strengthening collaborations in the field of defense cooperation.

The Undersecretary discussed the Department’s institutional history and policy that highlights the strong and dynamic bilateral ties between the Philippines and the UAE. END
