Office of Protocol Conducts Two-Day Protocol Training Workshop for DTI Region 

Senior officers and staff from DTI’s Regional Office and Provincial Offices in Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales participated in the training workshop conducted by the DFA Office of Protocol.

The participants actively participated in the simulation exercises, including the exercises in the protocol of the flag. 

SAN FERNANDO 20 April 2023 – The Department of Foreign Affairs’ Office of Protocol (OP) conducted a two-day basic protocol training workshop for the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region III from 13 to 14 April 2023 in San Fernando City, Pampanga. 

Close to 50 DTI Region III’s officials and senior staff, headed by OIC Regional Director Brigida Pili, with Provincial Directors from Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales took part in the training. 

The training workshop, conducted by OP’s Acting Director Siegfred Masangkay and Ms. Cielo Gamayon, covered topics such as basic protocol procedures and practices for government offices, social graces and etiquette, mounting social events, as well as conference management. Simulation exercises on frequently mounted ceremonial and social events were undertaken to ensure the knowledge retention of the participants. END
