DFA and PSA Discuss Strengthening Verification Mechanism of PSA Documents for Apostille Issuance

PASAY CITY 10 May 2023 – The Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) met with officials of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Civil Registration System (CRS) on 13 April 2023 at the PSA CRS Building in East Avenue, Quezon City to conduct an ocular visit and discuss relevant issues on the operationalization of the Apostille Convention and verification process involving PSA documents in the Philippines. 

PSA CRS officials led by Assistant National Statistician (ANS) Marizza B. Grande vowed to assist the DFA OCA to strengthen the existing verification mechanism for PSA documents presented for Apostille issuance. END
