Secretary Manalo is the Featured Speaker of the 42nd Sapru House Lecture in New Delhi

NEW DELHI 28 June 2023 – Philippine Secretary for Foreign Affairs Enrique Manalo spoke in the 42nd Sapru House Lecture in New Delhi. The Sapru House Lectures are regularly organized by the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) as a venue to discuss present-day foreign policy issues. Some notable guest speakers of its past editions were Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon.

Secretary Manalo’s speech delved on Philippine-India bilateral relations, multilateralism, democracy and the rule of law. After his speech, Secretary Manalo also answered questions from the audience which comprised members of the Indian government, academe, think tanks and the diplomatic community.
