DFA San Fernando Opens Special Lane for Filipino Seafarers in Celebration of 2023 Day of the Seafarer

30 JUNE 2023 — The DFA Consular Office in San Fernando, Pampanga opened special passport and authentication lanes for Filipino seafarers on 27 June 2023, in celebration of the 2023 Day of the Seafarer.
In recognition of the significant contribution of seafarers to marine environmental protection, the Consular Office showcased a video highlighting their role in safeguarding the ocean. Additionally, the Secretary's message was also played on a loop.
Along with the special lane, the office offered snacks to seafarer applicants after their passport processing and distributed PhP100.00 gift certificates courtesy of CO personnel. Seafarers were also given flyers containing contact information for seafarer-related offices in the Philippines.
The Day of Seafarers campaign was also joined by the Temporary Online Passport Services (TOPS) in San Fernando, Pampanga, and Olongapo, Zambales. These two offices fall under the supervision of the DFA Consular Office in Pampanga. END.
