DFA, DDMP REIT Inc. Sign MOA on Passport and Apostille Releasing Service Center at DoubleDragon Plaza

PARAÑAQUE 08 September 2023 — The Department of Foreign Affairs and DDMP REIT, Inc. signed on 31 August 2023 the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on the continued use and establishment of the Passport and Apostille Releasing Service Center at the DoubleDragon Plaza at DD Meridian Park.
DFA Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs Henry S. Bensurto, Jr., in his remarks during the event, highlighted that the signing of the MOA is a testament of the DFA’s unyielding commitment to make consular services closer to and easier for the public.
DFA Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Affairs Jesus S. Domingo, who signed the document on behalf of the DFA, also underscored the good working relationship between the DFA and Double Dragon. The Undersecretary also signified that the signing of the MOA will allow for the continued efficient delivery of passport and apostille services to the general public and pave the way for similar initiatives that will further enhance consular services for all the Filipino people.
On 24 September 2021, in order to decongest long queues at OCA Aseana, and in coordination with DoubleDragon Properties Corporation, all Passport releasing services for OCA-Aseana, Temporary Off-Site Passport Service (TOPS) SM MOA, Sucat and Uptown Malls were transferred to Islas Pinas, GF, DoubleDragon Plaza, Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City. On 11 April 2023, all Authentication and Apostille releasing services were also relocated to DoubleDragon Plaza.
