DFA Consular Offices San Fernando Pampanga and Public Attorney’s Office Pampanga District Offer Free Notarial Services and Legal Consultation to Passport and Apostille Applicants

DFA PAMPANGA, 09 October 2023– The DFA Consular Office in San Fernando Pampanga (CO-CSFP), in cooperation with the Public Attorney’s Office – Pampanga District (PAO-R3), provided free notarial and legal consultation services to DFA applicants on 05 October 2023 at the DFA Consular Office in San Fernando, Pampanga.

The joint public service project of DFA CO-CSFP and PAO-R3 which offered free notarial services to DFA’s Passport and Authentication applicants, as well as free legal advice to interested public, was in connection with the 2023 Philippine Family Week celebration and the “Lingap” Program of the Consular Office. 

PAO Pampanga District graciously accepted DFA Consular Office’s invitation to provide such services to applicants to allow applicants to spend more time with their families since such services are not readily accessible to the public, and help them defray notarial cost.  Nine lawyers were deployed by PAO-R3 to the Consular Office headed by PAO-Pampanga District Atty. Socrates A. Padua who also joined the legal team who services fifty-six applicants.

Around 56 applicants received free notarial services during the said service.  PAO-Pampanga District also agreed to hold similar services for DFA CO San Fernando Pampanga on a regular basis in order to extend free services to more applicants.The project was also supported by Robinsons Starmills, CSFP management.
