International Bazaar 2023 to Usher in the Christmas Festivities on November 19th at PICC

11 October 2023 - The International Bazaar Foundation, Inc (IBF), in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Diplomatic and Consular Corps of the Philippines, and Spouses of the Heads of Mission (SHOM), will hold the International Bazaar 2023 on Sunday, 19 November 2023, from 9:00am to 7:00pm at Forum Tents 2 and 3 of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.

The International Bazaar, an annual tradition, is one of the most anticipated bazaars that ushers in the start of Christmas festivities. It enjoys the participation of the diplomatic community as well as Philippine product exhibitors. This year, we have more than 42 countries participating in the Bazaar. Countries include all time-favorite Switzerland known for its premium chocolates, China, Japan and Korea for its flavorful local  dishes, Netherlands for its famous sausages, and Australia which will offer a wide selection of their artisan cheese, wine and honey. Joining the Bazaar again this year are Spain, which will showcase jamon, chorizos, extra virgin olive oil and Spanish wine, and Austria which will offer its beloved national drink, schnapps, and delectable baked treats.

All proceeds from this annual Bazaar will go to the various IBF and SHOM charity projects and programs that aim to uplift marginalized communities and extend educational opportunities to indigent scholars. Through its Scholarship Program, the IBF has granted more than 500 scholarships over the years and currently has 40 active scholars. The IBF also supports likelihood projects for distressed communities and victims of calamities, provides financial and in-kind assistance to the elderly and to abused and abandoned children, and assists other civic organizations, medical institutions, and NGOs in providing medical care to children, persons with disabilities, the homeless, and other deserving groups.

Established in 1966, the IBF is a non-profit fundraising institutional foundation. Now in its 57th year, the IBF remains committed to its vision of assisting disadvantaged sectors of the community through its charitable activities, as well as fostering stronger bonds within the diplomatic community in Manila.
