DFALF Provides Members with Enlightening Calligraphy Experience

MANILA 11 October 2023 – The DFA Ladies Foundation, Inc. (DFALF) embraced creativity and relaxation by organizing a hybrid calligraphy class on 4 October 2023 at the Bulwagang Elpidio Quirino of the DFA Main Building. This event was skillfully conducted by Ms. Elna Smith, a calligraphy enthusiast who has been teaching classic and traditional calligraphy since 2018.

DFALF, known for its commitment to the well-being of its members, introduced this Calligraphy Class as part of its 2023 wellness initiatives. This endeavor aimed to provide a holistic experience to its members, allowing them to acquire a new skill, take a break from their daily work routine, and undertake meditation through the art of writing.

The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 30 attendees on-site and 10 online participants. Under the expert guidance of Ms. Smith, participants delved into the world of calligraphy, mastering the basic alphabetical letters and expressing gratitude in multiple languages using the elegant Copperplate calligraphy font.
