DFA OCA Opens Authentication Center in Legazpi City

ALBAY 13 DECEMBER 2023 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Office of Consular Affairs conducted a soft launch of its first Authentication service in the Bicol region in the Consular Office in Pacific Mall, Legazpi City, Albay on 11 December 2023.
Albay Vice Governor Glenda Ong Bongao, Mr. Anton Jacomina, VP for Human Resources of the Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (MRSGI), Legazpi City Administrator Carlos Ante, and top officers of the Pacific Mall management graced the event. After the ribbon cutting ceremony, the guests were given a quick tour of the newly built space for Authentication service.
CO Legazpi is the 11th Consular Office offering full authentication services to the public and the first one to be opened since the pandemic. The CO will cater to clients in the Bicol region and nearby provinces in Luzon and the Visayas.
The Consular Office in Legazpi will start accepting applications for Apostille during mall hours, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, Monday to Friday only. Appointment slots will be available in January 2024. END
