DFA Office of Protocol Conducts Diplomatic Protocol Training for COMELEC and DOT Zamboanga

PASAY 14 December 2023 — The Office of Protocol of the Department of Foreign conducted a basic diplomatic protocol training workshop for the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) on 24 October 2023 at the Palacio del Gobernador Building, Intramuros, Manila, and the Department of Tourism – Region IX (DOT Zamboanga) on 09-10 November 2023 at the Garden Orchid Hotel, Zamboanga City.

Both training workshops, led by Deputy Assistant Secretary and Executive Director (DAS) Mary Jennifer D. Dingal, covered basic protocol procedures and practices, events and conference management, along with ceremonial and social functions.

The lecture was followed by simulation exercises and activities. END
