Foreign Affairs Secretary Manalo and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi Talk on PH-China Relations

21 December 2023 – Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique A. Manalo and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi had a telephone conversation yesterday.  

Secretary Manalo said, “We had a frank and candid exchange and ended our call with a clearer understanding of our respective positions on a number of issues. We both noted the importance of dialogue in addressing these issues.”

The phone call follows the meeting between President Marcos and President Xi Jinping at the sidelines of APEC Economic Leaders Summit in San Francisco. END
