Philippines, Viet Nam Meet to Further Strengthen Maritime Cooperation

PASAY 25 January 2024 – Vietnamese Permanent Deputy Minister and Chairman of the National Boundary Commission of Viet Nam (right) conducted a working visit to Manila on 21-23 January 2024 to discuss maritime cooperation with Undersecretary Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro (left). Both sides affirmed the importance of continued dialogue on issues of mutual concern, as well as cooperation in the multilateral arena. The two sides also affirmed their commitment to the conclusion of the negotiation of the ASEAN-China Code of Conduct. END
