DFA Protocol Conducts Training on Basic Diplomatic and Government Protocol for ARTA

PASAY 13 February 2024 - The Office of Protocol of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) conducted a training on basic diplomatic and government protocol for the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) during the latter’s Strategic Planning Session on 01 February 2024 at the Bayview Park Hotel Manila.

Throughout the two-hour training, Assistant Director Christian Andrei C. Aguilar discussed basic concepts on Diplomatic and Government Protocol and highlighted various ceremonial and social functions, including the importance of the flag protocol and order of precedence.

The training was requested by ARTA to ensure compliance with proper protocol during their various engagements with foreign stakeholders, and was attended by personnel from ARTA’s Office of the Director General, including Secretary Ernesto V. Perez. END
