DFA-OVS Hosts Comelec’s Conduct of Special Register Anywhere Program for 2025 National Elections

PASAY 05 March 2024 – In view of the upcoming 2025 National Elections, the Department of Foreign Affairs-Overseas Voting Secretariat (DFA-OVS), in partnership with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC)- Pasay 1st District, conducted the Register Anywhere Program (RAP) on 29 February 2024 at the Bulwagang Apolinario Mabini of the Department.

The conducted RAP catered to the personnel of the Department, attached agencies, their respective dependents, and other clients. A total of two hundred eighty-three (283) applications were processed, which included but were not limited to, transfers, new registrations, reactivations and updating of voter records.

The event was supervised by Undersecretary and Chairperson of the DFA-OVS Jesus S. Domingo; COMELEC Chairperson George Erwin M. Garcia; COMELEC Commissioner Rey E. Bulay; COMELEC Commissioner Ernesto Ferdinand P. Maceda, Jr.; COMELEC Deputy Executive Director for Operations Atty. Rafael Olaño; Atty. Datumama M. Macaindig; and Atty. Elaiza Sabile David. DFA Undersecretary for Administration Antonio A. Morales also graced the activity.

The Voter Registration for the 2025 National and Local Elections will end on 30 September 2024. END
