Malaysian Foreign Affairs Minister Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan to Visit the Philippines on 01 July 2024

MANILA 28 June 2024 – Malaysian Minister for Foreign Affairs Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan will visit the Philippines on 01 July 2024.  

To build on the successes of the high-level visits in 2023, Secretary for Foreign Affairs Enrique A. Manalo will meet with Foreign Minister Hasan to discuss the current state of Philippines-Malaysia relations, as well as to exchange views on regional and international developments. 

This is the inaugural first visit of the Malaysian Foreign Minister to the Philippines since taking the helm of the Malaysian Foreign Ministry in December 2023. 

Both sides are also working coordinating onto convening the 8th Bilateral Joint Commission Meeting which was last held in Manila more than a decade ago. END
