Bahrain Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Prepares Embassy Inauguration, Calls on DFA Officials

MANILA 27 August 2024 – Ambassador Dr. Isa Nasser Al Noaimi, Undersecretary for Consular and Administrative Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, made a significant visit to Manila to oversee the progress of Bahrain’s forthcoming Embassy.

During his visit, Undersecretary Al Noaimi met with Undersecretary for Administration Antonio A. Morales at the Department of Foreign Affairs. Undersecretary Morales warmly welcomed his Bahraini counterpart and expressed his sincere gratitude for the enduring and robust relationship between the Philippines and Bahrain. The establishment of an Embassy in Manila is expected to serve as a catalyst for expanding bilateral cooperation in many areas of mutual interest. Both officials expressed optimism about the positive impact this new diplomatic presence will have on strengthening ties between the two countries. 

The opening of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Manila is expected before the end of the year. END
