Polish Foreign Minister Embarks on Landmark Visit to the Philippines

MANILA, 01 September 2024 – Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski will undertake an official visit to the Philippines from 03 to 05 September 2024, which coincides with the ongoing celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Poland. This marks the first standalone visit to the Philippines by a Polish Foreign Minister. Minister Sikorski previously visited the Philippines in 2006 in his capacity as Defense Minister. 

The visit to the Philippines is part of the Polish Foreign Minister’s official travel to Southeast Asia. 

Foreign Minister Sikorski will meet Secretary for Foreign Affairs Enrique A. Manalo to discuss ways to further strengthen Philippines-Poland relations and exchange views on regional and international issues. He will also meet with other high-level officials of the Philippine government. END
