Romulo School of Diplomacy (CPRSD), successfully piloted its upskilling training for personnel of Consular Offices (CO) in CO Iloilo on 17 October 2024. This training is under FSI’s Training and Research Outreach (TRO) Program.
The FSI training team shared their expertise and understanding on Basic Written Communication and Events Management for the 21 personnel of CO Iloilo.
CPRSD Director Evelyn O. Katigbak discussed the fundamentals for effective written communication where she emphasized the “rule of clarity.” Further, she highlighted how learning the basics of well-written correspondence and reports is crucial in their roles as public servants.
For Events Management, CPRSD’s Continuing Studies Section’s Chief Training Officer Dulce Amor N. Fortunado presented a detailed guide to managing events – from preparation to evaluation. She noted how every step in “S.P.I.C.E” (Start, Plan, Implement, Control, Evaluate) is significant in ensuring a successful event.
At the end of each session, mini workshop activities were conducted for the participants to put their learnings into application.
