DFA Launches Its Public Diplomacy Caravan in Isabela

CAUAYAN 24 January 2025 - The Department of Foreign Affairs launched its very first Public Diplomacy Caravan at the Isabela State University in Cauayan, Isabela on 23 January 2025.

Officials from the DFA’s Office of Public Diplomacy, the Maritime and Ocean Affairs Office, the Office of Policy Planning and Coordination as well as the Human Resources Management Office spoke before 4,000 students of the said university. After their presentations, the DFA officials also answered questions from the students ranging from career possibilities in the DFA  

The goal of the DFA Public Diplomacy Caravan is to enable the general public to know more about the Department and understand better its different functions and responsibilities. Through this activity, the DFA not only aims to have more direct interaction with its stakeholders and better appreciation of their needs, concerns and perspectives in relation to the DFA as a public service agency.

The DFA Public Diplomacy Caravan will continue in various universities and local government units around the country in the coming months. END
