FSI Chair Receives ISO Certificate

The Chair of the Foreign Service Institute Board, Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique A. Manalo, receives FSI’s ISO 9001:2015 certificate. Secretary Manalo is joined by FSI’s Director General Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III and TÜV Rheinland Representatives.

MANILA 30 January 2025 – The Chair of the Foreign Service Institute Board, Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique A. Manalo, received FSI’s ISO 9001:2015 certificate on 22 January 2025. This certification confirms that FSI’s quality management systems continue to comply with international standards. The Secretary was joined by FSI’s Director General Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III, Executive Director Lolita B. Capco, and Deputy Director General Marichu C. Liwanag. 

Engr. Tristan Arwen Loveres, Managing Director of TÜV Rheinland Philippines, and Ms. Isabel Tiu, Area Sales Manager, handed over the ISO certificate in a simple ceremony at the temporary headquarters of the Department of Foreign Affairs at DoubleDragon Tower.

TÜV Rheinland Philippines audited a total of 22 processes pertaining to FSI’s training, research, and support services. This milestone highlights FSI’s commitment to continually improving its services as it prepares to celebrate its 50th founding anniversary in 2026.

FSI received its initial ISO 9001:2015 Certificate in January 2020. END
