FSI Microsite Features “Filipinos in the Field: 2nd Edition”

MANILA 06 February 2025 — An electronic version of “Filipinos in the Field: 75 Faces of Migration” on its Matters of Migration microsite now appears on the website of the Foreign Service Institute (FSI). The book is a special publication of the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa and the Philippine Consulates General in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary to commemorate 75 years of Philippines-Canada diplomatic relations. This second edition of “Filipinos in the Field” brings together the stories and triumphs of 75 members of the Filipino diaspora in Canada, paying tribute to their invaluable contribution to the enrichment of Canadian society. The publication highlights the journey of Filipinos, Filipino-Canadians, and Canadians of Filipino descent as they have navigated different sectors of Canadian society over the years, including arts, sports, business, and public service.
