DAVAO CITY 25 February 2025 - Secretary Maria Agnes M. Cervantes attended the National Day Reception hosted by Consul General Ishikawa Yoshihisa of the Consulate General of Japan in Davao City on 13 February 2025 at the SMX Convention Center, Lanang, Davao City to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan. 

The host underscored the strong ties between Japan and the Philippines, particularly in the Mindanao region, and highlighted the ongoing collaboration in various sectors, including trade, culture, and education. END
