Cambodian Ambassador Phan Peuv Pays Farewell Call on Secretary Manalo

MANILA 27 February 2025 – Secretary Enrique A. Manalo received outgoing Cambodian Ambassador Phan Peuv for a farewell call on Wednesday, 26 February 2025. 

Secretary Manalo recognized Ambassador Phan’s contributions in strengthening the cordial ties between the Philippines and Cambodia, highlighted by the Official Visit of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet earlier this month. 

Secretary Manalo also emphasized the Philippines’ readiness to continue working with Cambodia in addressing transnational crimes and protecting communities from criminal acts and illegal practices.

Both sides expressed their optimism on the current trajectory of Philippines-Cambodia relations and hoped that  recent high-level engagements and interactions, both in the business and government sectors, will facilitate closer and more robust ties in the years ahead. 

The Philippines and Cambodia established formal diplomatic relations on 20 August 1957. END
