29 October 2014 – The Office of Fiscal Management (OFM) of the Department of Foreign Affairs was awarded as one of the ten Most Outstanding Accounting Offices for 2013 by the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines (AGAP) during the AGAP National Convention held in Baguio City from October 21 to 24.

AGAP officers, headed by National President Gregorio C. Rulloda, presented the trophy to DFA Undersecretary for Administration Linglingay F. Lacanlale at the awarding ceremony on October 21.

AGAP cited timely submission of accurate and complete 2013 financial reports, compliance with audit findings and early implementation of the Public Financial Management (PFM) program as the reasons for the DFA’s selection.  END
