09 February 2015 – Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno L.P. Marsudi paid a courtesy call on Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert F. del Rosario today, February 09, at the Department of Foreign Affairs. Foreign Minister Marsudi is in the country as part of the official Indonesian delegation for the State Visit to the Philippines of President Joko Widodo.

The ministers met briefly to discuss matters of mutual concern, including ongoing collaborative activities between the Philippines and Indonesia in migrant workers issues, maritime cooperation, defense, trade and investment, and people-to-people exchanges, which will be elaborated on by the Presidents of both countries during official meetings later in the day.

President Widodo is currently on a three-country swing, which has taken him on State Visits to Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam, with the Philippines being his final stop. END
