13 March 2015 –The personnel of the Department of Foreign Affairs’ Regional Consular Ofice in Legazpi (RCO Legazpi), headed by Officer-In-Charge Manuel S. Moran, Jr., joined the National Women’s Month celebration on March 11 under the theme “Juana, Desisyon Mo ay Mahalaga sa Kinabukasan ng Bawat Isa, Ikaw Na!”

The event, consisting of a fun walk and zumba dance exercises draws the participation of the different government agencies led by the Philippine National Police (PNP), local government units and other stakeholders. The participants assembled at 6:00 a.m. at Bicol University Ground Main Campus and walk through the main street heading towards Peñaranda Park, Legazpi City where the participants took part in the zumba dance craze to cap the event.

This year’s Women Month celebration in Albay was organized thru the efforts of DSWD-RIACAT-VAWC in coordination with the PNP. END
