The Government of the Philippines extends most heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the Government and people of Nepal for the terrible loss of lives, extensive damage to property and the destruction of Nepal’s important cultural sites caused by the earthquake of April 25th.
During these most difficult times, the Philippines and the Filipino people stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Nepal.
We share the pain and anguish caused by this natural calamity.
The Philippines and the Filipino people join the international community in supporting the Nepal Government’s efforts to recover the survivors, rehabilitate lives and rebuild communities. The Philippines stands ready to provide humanitarian, financial and other assistance to Nepal.
With the resiliency of the Nepalese spirit and the resolve of the Government of Nepal, the Philippines believes that all the challenges now faced shall, in due course, be overcome.
