01 July 2015 - The Department of Foreign Affairs, Overseas Voting Secretariat (DFA-OVS), announced today that DFA-OVS signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with UBE Media Inc. and Airfreight 2100 to promote overseas voters registration, by developing and producing radio and TV announcements and other materials.

In addition, UBE Media, Inc. shall air the broadcast elements in its show, Panahon TV, from July 01 to October 31. Airfreight 2100, Inc. shall also provide free AIR21 premium items to all who register at the DFA Overseas Voters Registration Centers located in ASEANA, Robinsons Galeria, RCO San Fernando Pampanga, RCO Cebu and RCO Davao for the duration of the voter registration period.

The said partnership could further enhance overseas voting awareness on the procedures and system as well as the importance of politically empowering Filipinos here and abroad. 

All Filipino citizens who expect to be abroad during the thirty day (09 April – 09 May 2016) overseas voting period for the 2016 Presidential Elections, at least 18 years old on 09 May 2016, and not otherwise disqualified by law, may also register at the DFA Overseas Voter Registration Centers located in ASEANA Macapagal, Robinsons Galeria, RCO San Fernando Pampanga, RCO Cebu and RCO Davao and at other COMELEC approved registration centers in the Philippines.
