16 October 2015 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), in partnership with Cosplay.ph, intensified its public diplomacy campaign through its participation in Cosplay Mania ’15, held from October 03 to 04 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex.

This year, the DFA promoted its major advocacies through the activities, event merchandise distributed, and slogans posted at the DFA booth. Captain DFA and Kapitana DFA, who were highlighted in the DFA booth, embody DFA employees serving the country in various parts of the world. The DFA booth also featured Heneral Luna as a cosplay character. The cosplay characters enticed the guests to visit the booth, take photos, and participate in the activities and games.

DFA’s participation in Cosplay Mania ’15 was made possible through the cooperation of various offices such as: Office of the Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Concerns (OUCSCC), Office of the Undersecretary for Administration (OUA), Public Information Services Unit (PISU), Office of European Affairs (OEA), Office of Personnel and Administrative Services (OPAS), Office of Assets Management and Support Services (OAMMS), Board of Foreign Service Examinations (BFSE), and DFA Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFAMPC).
