13 November 2015 — Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Assistant Secretary for Middle East and African Affairs Julius D. Torres represented Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert F. del Rosario at the groundbreaking ceremony of Phase I of the Aeropark Campus, Aeropark, Gatwick Gateway, Clark Pampanga on November 11.
The Aeropark Campus is a project of Global Gateway Development Corporation (GGDC) – an affiliate of Kuwaiti investment firm KGL Inc. – in cooperation with consultancy firm CB Richard Ellis Philippines. The 177-hectare project is expected to provide around 300,000 new jobs for the people of Pampanga and other nearby areas.
Also in attendance at the groundbreaking ceremony were Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Philippines Waleed Ahmad Al-Kandari, Pampanga Governor Ms. Lilia Pineda and Angeles City Mayor Atty. Edgardo D. Pamintuan. END
