14 April 2016 - Mr. Rahman Nurdun, Head of South and East Asia, Pacific and Latin America Department and Special Adviser to the President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), paid a courtesy call on Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Assistant Secretary Maria Cleofe Natividad of the Office of European Affairs.  Mr. Nurdun was accompanied by Turkish Ambassador to the Philippines Esra Cankorur, Mr. Burak Saritarla, Turkish Development Cooperation Agency (TIKA) - Philippines Program Coordinator, and Ms. Esra Zora, TIKA consultant.

Mr. Nurdun is on an official trip to the Philippines to review on-going TIKA projects.

Assistant Secretary Natividad welcomed Mr. Nurdun to the Philippines and expressed appreciation for TIKA’s implementation of livelihood programs in less developed communities in the Philippines. Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation and coordination between TIKA and the concerned Philippine agencies in order to facilitate the implementation of projects.  END
