PH Ambassador Celebrates 56th ASEAN Day with the ASEAN Committee in Helsinki

HELSINKI 11 August 2023 – Philippine Ambassador to Sweden Maria Lumen B. Isleta joined the ASEAN Committee in Helsinki (ACH) in a reception commemorating the 56th anniversary of the establishment of ASEAN on 08 August 2023 at the Embassy of Indonesia in Helsinki.

During her remarks, Indonesian Ambassador and ACH Chair Ratu Silvy Gayatriand emphasized the positive economic outlook for the region in the coming year, which makes it a viable destination for businesses in search of economic opportunities.

Guests were treated to delectable savories and desserts prepared by the participating ASEAN countries. END
