ASEAN Ankara Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Celebrates ASEAN @ 50

09 August 2017 ANKARA, TURKEY – The ASEAN Ankara Committee (AAC) led by its current chair Philippine Ambassador Maria Rowena Mendoza Sanchez (fourth from left) and comprising of the other ASEAN Heads of Missions from Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Brunei (as shown in the photo) link hands with Turkey’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Ahmet Yildiz (fifth from left)  during celebrations in Ankara, Turkey marking the 50th Anniversary of the founding of ASEAN on August 08. The celebrations comprised of a flag hoisting ceremony; ASEAN photo opportunities with Dialogue and Sectoral Partners; a ceremonial cake cutting ceremony and speeches from Ambassador Mendoza Sanchez and Deputy Yildiz.
