PHL Embassy in Yangon Shares True Spirit of Christmas
The PHL Embassy in Yangon spread Christmas cheer and shared its blessings with the 120 Myanmar girls of St. Mary’s Home in Kyauktan, Republic of the Union of Myanmar on December 14. The Embassy held a Christmas party for the girls with parlor games, gift-giving and a festive meal prepared by the Embassy men and women personnel and their families. The girls showed their appreciation through musical performances where they sang, played musical instruments and danced. St. Mary’s Home is an orphanage run by the Servite Sisters, a religious congregation of nuns affiliated with the religious order of Servi di Maria.
