119th Anniversary of Phl Independence Featured in Guam’s Newstalk K57AM
Consul Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian guest hosts Newstalk K57 AM on June 15 with special guest, 34th Guam Legislature Senator Frank Aguon, Jr.
28 June 2017 AGANA — The month-long celebration of the 119th anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence features in Guam’s Newstalk K57 AM all Thursdays of June. Newstalk K57 AM is owned and operated by the Sorensen Media Group, one of the biggest media and entertainment company in the Mariana Islands.
The Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam led by Consul General Marciano R. de Borja will guest host the radio program Thursday evenings in June to talk about events and activities for this year’s Philippine Independence anniversary.
To start the radio series, K57 AM’s Phillip Leon Guerrero interviewed Consul General Marciano de Borja on June 6 held at Taste Restaurant of Westin Resort Guam. Consul General de Borja hosted the radio show on June 8 at Rootz Hill’s Grillhouse, with special guest Mr. Patrick Luces, 2nd Vice President of the Filipino Community of Guam, the umbrella organization of the various Filipino organizations on the island.
Dr. Raul M. Sunico, the Philippine Consulate’s guest of honor for its Philippine Independence activities, appeared on K57 AM on June 15 for an interview by the show’s host and one of Guam’s most prominent media personalities, Ms. Patti Arroyo. Consul Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian was the guest host of the radio show that evening with special guest, 34th Guam Legislature Senator Frank Aguon, Jr.
