Filipino Community in Brazil Organize Binibining Kalayaan 2017
28 June 2017 BRASÍLIA — Ms. Argie Labajo Comaingking, a domestic helper working in São Paulo, wins the 2017 Binibining Kalayaan crown, in a beauty pageant organized by the Filipino Community and the Brazil-Philippines Cultural Alliance in São Paulo on June 17 to mark the 119th Anniversary of the declaration of Philippine Independence. Chargé d’affaires, ad interim Ariz Severino V. Convalecer was the Guest of Honor and Chairman of the Board of Judges of the 2017 Binibining Kalayaan pageant.
