DUKHAN 05 July 2018 — The Philippine Embassy in Doha, in collaboration with the Filipino Association of Dukhan, celebrated the 120th anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine independence with a one-day mobile consular outreach mission at the Qatar Petroleum (QP) Compound Recreation Center on 12 June 2018.

Filipino Community members and their families working and residing in the QP facility and the surrounding areas availed themselves of the various services provided during the event, including passport renewal, Overseas Voting registration, authentication and notarial of documents, and other consular services and inquiries.

Consul General Roussel R. Reyes, in his welcome remarks during the reception, read the Independence Day message of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte which tells the history and heritage of patriotism and solidarity of the nation.

Mobile consular outreach services are regularly scheduled in surrounding municipalities around Doha, as part of the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to deliver convenient and accessible services to better serve the growing needs of Filipinos in Qatar. END
