PH Embassy, Ottawa Filipino Community Celebrates Mass for PH Independence Days
The Philippine Embassy in the Ottawa together with the Filipino community in Ottawa came together on 8 June 2019 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mother Parish Church to celebrate Mass in commemoration of the 121st Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence.
The Independence Day Mass is a long-standing tradition in Ottawa’s Filipino community as one of the many activities marking Philippine Independence. This year, the community is also celebrating the first Filipino Heritage Month in Canada. (Ottawa PE photo)
