Cultural Show Marks Kalayaan 2019, Migrant Workers Day Celebration in Lebanon
The Philippine Embassy in Beirut and the Filipino community held a cultural festival at the Collége du Sacré Couer in Gemmayzé to celebrate the 121st Anniversary the Proclamation of Philippine Independence and Migrant Workers day on 9 June 2019.

Different festivals and cultural dances were performed by the Filipino community in Lebanon during the celebration the 121st Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence and Migrant Workers day: Above left – “Dinagyang dance”; Above right – “Ati-Atihan dance”; Bottom left – “Karansa dance”; and Bottom right – “Ifugao dance”. The highlight of the program was the mass “Itik-Itik” and “Polka sa Nayon” dance presentation by the Embassy's female staff led by Ambassador Catalla, together with 64 members of Filipino community. (Beirut PE photo)
