PH Consulate General in Jeddah Celebrates National Flag Day during their Flag Raising Ceremony

JEDDAH 29 May 2022 – The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah held a short program during the Flag Raising Ceremony in celebration of the National Flag Day. Staff members lead the Parade of Flags, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and Panatang Makabayan.

Consul General Edgar Tomas ‘Gary’ Auxilian delivered a speech to commemorate the occasion. Mr. Michael Ingal, Mr. Gerardo Nicolas, and Ms. Gina Cañon also performed during the event. To close off the celebration, breakfast was hosted by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office.

An exhibit on the history and evolution of the Philippine flag is on display together with a photo booth for the visiting public.
