PH Embassy in New Delhi Holds Flag Raising Ceremony in Celebration of the 124th Anniversary PH Independence

NEW DELHI 12 June 2022 – The Philippine Embassy in New Delhi held a Flag Raising Ceremony at the Embassy grounds to commemorate the 124th Anniversary of the Philippine Independence. The event was the first gathering of the Embassy personnel and the Filipino Community in the Embassy since the start of the pandemic.
The Independence Day messages of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. were delivered by Philippine Ambassador to India Ramon S. Bagatsing and Acting Deputy Chief of Mission and Vice Consul John Boitte Santos, respectively.
Ambassador Bagatsing also awarded plaques of recognition to the distinguished Embassy personnel and local hire who have shown utmost dedication and outstanding service in the performance of their respective tasks despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic.
The celebration concluded with a sumptuous meal comprising pansit, adobo, hotsilog, bacsilog, and a luscious charcuterie prepared by Filipino Chef Augusto Cabrera. END
