GENEVA 15 June 2023 – The Philippine flag was proudly raised at the Philippine Chancery in Geneva, as officials of the Permanent Mission of the Philippines to the United Nations and Other International Organization and the Permanent Mission of the Philippines to the World Trade Organization commemorated the 125th Anniversary of Philippine Independence and Nationhood.
Celebrated every June 12, this year’s Philippine Independence Day carries the theme "Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan" (Freedom. Future. History). The Philippine Missions were joined by Senator Raffy Tulfo and officials from the Department of Migrant Workers, Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Trade and Industry, and Department of Agriculture.
