PH Embassy, Filipino Community in Brasilia Celebrates 126th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence

BRASILIA 18 June 2024 – The Philippine Embassy in Brasilia celebrated the 126th anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence with the Filipino Community on 09 June 2024.

The program started with the singing of the national anthem followed by playing of the Independence Day Message of Secretary for Foreign Affairs Enrique Manalo. The undersigned also delivered his opening remarks and message to the Filipino community. It was followed by a Filipino dance performance from the Teatro Cristã dos Membros da Igreja de Deus sede do Brasil. 

Around 100 guests attended the celebration and enjoyed Filipino food, karaoke, dancing, and picture taking at the jeepney photobooth. END
