SANTIAGO CITY, ISABELA 25 June 2024 – The Consular Office of the Department of Foreign Affairs in Santiago City celebrated the 126th Philippine Independence Day along its 6th year anniversary on 11 June 2024. The event was filled with meaningful activities to commemorate these important occasions.
Among the highlights were the video messages of OCA Assistant Secretary, Mr. Adelio Angelito S. Cruz, Passport Director, Mr. Von Ryan G. Pangwi, and COCD Director Mr. Condrado Demdem Jr. Their words of encouragement and support for the DFA Consular Office Santiago were greatly appreciated by all CO personnel. The Head of Office, Mr. Hy-noon M. Galabay, also delivered an inspirational message and reported the achievements made by the CO since its establishment in May 2018. He also emphasizes the importance of love for our country and the office’s role in providing efficient and quality consular services to the public.
In recognition of their dedication and hard work, certificates were awarded to eighteen (18) CO personnel who have reached their 5-year milestone in service. Additionally, six (6) CO personnel were commended for their exceptional work ethics, professionalism and outstanding work performance which significantly contributes to the efficient conduct of over-all operations of CO Santiago. Partner Organizations of CO were also recognized and awarded with certificates of appreciation for their contribution.
The celebration continued with a delectable spread of traditional Filipino dishes, adding a touch of culture to the event. It was a joyous occasion for everyone to come together and celebrate the progress and achievements of DFA Consular Office Santiago. END
