PH Embassy in Brazil holds wreath-laying ceremony for 125th anniversary of Rizal’s martyrdom

BRASÍLIA, 03 January 2022 – The Philippine Embassy held a Wreath-Laying Ceremony in Commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal.

The Philippine National Anthem was sung as the Philippine flag was raised before the Wreath Laying ceremony at the bust of Dr. Rizal inside the Embassy compound. The event included Ambassador Mario F. Chan reading the Rizal Day message of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

A Filipino fellowship breakfast of tapsilog, longanissa, pansit, and others was served after the wreath-laying event. END
