CO NCR-Northeast commemorates 125th anniversary of Rizal’s martyrdom

MANILA, 11 January 2022 – The DFA Consular Office (CO) in NCR-Northeast held a simple commemorative ceremony for the 125th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal on 29 December 2021.

In line with the event’s theme “Rizal: Para sa Agham, Katotohanan, at Buhay”, CO’s volunteer personnel shared their own thoughts and experiences of the martyrdom of Dr.

Jose Rizal. The personnel’s responses were collected and printed, which were then posted to a board which served as a commemorative plaque in appreciation of Rizal’s greatest works and accomplishments. END
