PH Embassy in Bangkok Commemorates 126th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal

BANGKOK, 05 January 2023 – Philippine Embassy personnel, led by Chargé d’Affaires Mary Anne A. Padua, commemorated the 126th Anniversary of the martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal on 30 December 2022, through the reading of the message of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs Enrique A. Manalo, a video presentation of the poem “Canto del Viajero” (Awit ng Biyahero) featuring different Sentros Rizal around the world, a video presentation of the song “Canto Patriotico de Maria Clara” (Awit ni Maria Clara) performed by soprano Ms. Camille Lopez-Molina with Mr. Arturo Molina conducting the Manila Symphony Orchestra, and finally, the wreath-laying ceremony in front of Rizal’s bust at the Embassy’s Sentro Rizal.
