PH Embassy in Rome, Knights of Rizal, Holds a Floral Offering Ceremony in Commemoration of the 126th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal

ROME, 05 January 2023 – The Philippine Embassy in Rome, led by Officer-in-Charge, Third Secretary and Vice Consul Ma. Claribel M. Ochoa, held a floral offering ceremony by the bust of Dr. Jose Rizal at the Sentro Rizal Rome on 29 December 2022 in commemoration of the 126th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Rizal. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Rizal: Alaalang Iningatan, Yaman Ngayon ng Bayan” (Rizal: Preserved Memories Treasured Today by the Nation). 

Officers of the Knights of Rizal (KOR) Italy and its Rome Chapter participated in the event, namely Mr. Carlos M. Simbillo, Area Commander for Italy, Mr. Augusto C. Cruz, Deputy Area Commander for Italy, and Mr. Joselito M. Viray, Chapter Commander. Postulants for knighthood were also present. END
