PH Consulate General in Nagoya Commemorates 126th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal

NAGOYA, 10 January 2023 – The Philippine Consulate General in Nagoya commemorated the 126th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal through conducting a literary workshop on the Works of the national hero. The workshop was held at the second floor of the Consulate General on 28 December 2022.

The workshop aimed to instill awareness and appreciation of Rizal’s thoughts and their role in shaping the Filipino consciousness and the emergence of the Filipino nation. The Consulate General personnel actively participated in the activity through reading and discussing selected writings of Rizal. END
